Create a Developer Account

Make sure you have created your business account before proceeding to this step.


  1. Before continuing, make sure you are logged in to your Canada Post account using the “Sign in” link at the top of https://www.canadapost-postescanada.ca/cpc/en/home.page



  1. Follow this link to go to the Canada Post Developer Program: https://www.canadapost-postescanada.ca/info/mc/business/productsservices/developers/services/gettingstarted.jsf


You should see your company information displayed at the top. If not, make sure you are logged in first.

  1. Scroll down the page and click on the green “Join NOW” link and follow the instructions to update your account with access to the developer program.



  1. Once your account is updated with developer program access, visit this link to retrieve your unique API keys: https://www.canadapost-postescanada.ca/information/app/drc/registered?execution=e4s1

  2. Copy and paste (do not screenshot) the entirety of the Development and Production keys and send them to REM Support so that we can integrate the shipping estimate service into your site.
