Create a Google Cloud Project

Written Walkthrough

To use many of Google’s services with your WebWiz@rd site, you’ll first need to create a Google Cloud Project. This project acts as a container for the various services (like Maps and reCAPTCHA) that your site will connect to.

  1. Visit the Google Cloud Dashboard by following this link: https://console.cloud.google.com/apis/dashboard

  2. If this is your first time arriving on your dashboard, you will be presented with a welcome screen. Choose the appropriate country then check off the I agree checkbox beside the Terms of Service. When done, click on Agree and continue.

  3. Click on the Create project button at the top right of the screen.

  4. Enter your company name in the Project name field and then click Create.

  5. When finished, you will then be redirected to the APIs & Services dashboard. You are now ready to enable billing on your account and start adding services.
