Creating an Account
The first step in using ShipStation is creating a free-trial account. This will later be converted to a paid account.

Navigate to the following URL and follow the steps to create your account: https://www.shipengine.com/signup/?ref=shipstation_signup&utm_medium=crossbrand&utm_source=shipstation&utm_campaign=signuppage
Before you can use your account, you must verify your email. Click on the Verify Your Account button in the email you receive from ShipStation API.

To simplify the process, we recommend providing REM with your login credentials. This allows our team to ensure the system is properly configured and ready for your WebWiz@rd site.
Go to your ShipStation dashboard using the following link: https://shipstation.auth0.com/login
Each shipping carrier will need to be connected to ShipStation before it can be used. They each have their own way of connecting, some have API keys that are used, some make a direct connection to ShipStation. When adding a carrier, ShipStation will provide instructions on how to setup the connection.
We need the API Key and API Secret keys accessible from the API Settings page. Click the Cog icon to access account settings, then click API Settings on the left
Upon initially arriving at this page the keys will have to be generated.
They can be pasted into the ShipStation options screen within ecom:

The Purolator development key is incompatible with ShipStation. Only the activation key and courier account number will work.
