Get Started – VERIFY AND UPDATE YOUR META TAGS SETTINGS

VERIFY AND UPDATE YOUR META TAGS SETTINGS

  1. Log into WebWiz@rd

  2. Click on the Standard Modules tab

  3. Click on the Default Meta Tags module

  4. In the Basic Mata tab, you will need

  5. Enter the Default Meta Description (the description you want to appear when a user finds your site on a search engine) in the text area beside the Default Meta Description title

  6. Confirm the Default Social Sharing Image is correct

  7. Click on the Business Information tab

  8. Fill in the following:

  • * Business Name:

  • Telephone:

  • Contact Email:

  • * Street Address:

  • Region Code:

  • Locality:

  • Postal Code:

  • Country Code:

  • Business Founding Date:

  • Business Geo Coordinates:

  • Business Same As URLs:

  • Business Hours:

  • Business Logo:

  • Business Photo 1:

  • Business Photo 2:

  • Business Photo 3:

  • Business Photo 4:

  • Business Photo 5:

  • The “*” beside the field is the minimum recommendation from Google to be filled in

  1. Click on the Save button at the bottom of the screen

  • If you need more information regarding any of the fields, you can simply hover over the “?” and you will see a detailed description of what information is needed.
