Enable Forgot Password

To ensure that your Forgot Password function is set up to work in the case that you need to reset your password, make sure you have the following completed when you are first given your new email account with REM


Login to your Mail Enable Account

Type in your username* and password and click Login 

*note - your username is just your full email address

If you do not know your current password, you will need to reach out to our Customer Success Team at support@remwebsolutions.com to generate a new temporary password and update your account with it. We will also need a secondary email address to send the password to if you cannot access your main email we are resetting the password for.


Making the Changes Inside of Mail Enable

Select the Options Tab

Once you have logged into your email account, select the OPTIONS tab at the top of the screen. It is the 5th option in after the first tab for EMAIL, which is the default selection when you first login.


Go to Password Recovery Section

  • On the left hand side of your screen, below GENERAL, select PASSWORD RECOVERY from the list of options

  • Make sure to Enable Password Recovery and fill in the necessary Security Questions.

  • Make sure to select one of the two options for how your new password will be provided to you when you successfully answer the Security Questions.

  • Make sure to select SAVE at the very bottom of your screen before logging out or closing the window/tab.
