Manipulate an image in the image editor

  1. Log into WebWiz@rd

  2. Click on the Standard Modules tab

  3. Click on the Image Editor module

  4. Click Select am image to manipulate in the middle of the screen

  5. Click on the file where the image is stored

  6. Click on the image

  7. The image will now show up in the Image Editor screen

  8. Select how you would like to manipulate the image from the icons in the editor

  9. Most often used is Resize

  10. The Resize pop up will appear

  11. Choose the New Width and enter the size in pixels

  12. The New Height will change automatically to keep the aspect ratio the same

  13. Click OK

  14. If you want to manipulate the image further by choosing another icon you can

  15. Once you have completed the edits to the image click Save

  16. Choose the appropriate option:

  17. Replace the original file (use caution) literally means that you will be saving overtop of your original image in the File Manager

  18. Make a backup of the original file, then replace it with this new image means that the image on the page will be replaced with the new version of the image, however your original copy of the image in the File Manager will not be overwritten

  19. Create a new, unique file means that you can rename the new image and put save it any of the folders that you have created in the File Manager

  20. Make sure the correct folder is selected on the right-hand side

  21. Click on the Confirm File Save button
