# Media Collections **Media Collections** # # Get Started – ADD/EDIT/DELETE MEDIA COLLECTIONS # ADD A MEDIA COLLECTION 1. Log into **WebWiz@rd** 2. Click on the **Standard Modules** tab 3. Click on the **Media Collections** module 4. On the left-hand side of the page under **Related Actions** click on **Add a media collection** 5. Fill in the **Name**, **Description** (if necessary), choose the **Collection** **Type** from the drop-down menu 6. If you choose **Banner** or **Internal Banner** for the **Collection Type** you will need to select **Transition Style** from the drop-down menu, **Transition Duration** (in seconds) and **Transition Delay** (in seconds) 7. If you choose **Gallery** for the **Collection Type** you will need to select **Show Caption** (off or on), **Show Description** (off or on), and **Show Link** (off or on) 8. If you choose **Image Scroller** for your **Collection Type** you have no other options to select 9. Once you have completed adding the **Collection Type** click on the **Save** button at the bottom of the screen # EDIT A MEDIA COLLECTION 1. Log into **WebWiz@rd** 2. Click on the **Standard Modules** tab 3. Click on the **Media Collections** module 4. Click on the **Edit** icon (the pencil) of the **Media Collection** you want to edit 5. Click on the **Basic** tab, if necessary and make the appropriate edits 6. Edit the fields that require editing 7. Click on the **Save** button on the left-hand side of the page # DELETE A MEDIA COLLECTION 1. Log into **WebWiz@rd** 2. Click on the **Standard Modules** tab 3. Click on the **Media Collections** module 4. Click on the **Delete** icon (the x) of the **Media Collection** you want to delete 5. A confirmation screen will appear asking you to confirm the deletion of the **Media Collection** 6. If you are sure, click **OK**, and the **Media Collection** will be deleted 7. If you clicked it by mistake, or changed your mind, click **Cancel**, and you will return to the **Media Collection** page **ADD/EDIT/DELETE MEDIA IN A MEDIA COLLECTION** # ADD MEDIA TO A MEDIA COLLECTION 1. Log into **WebWiz@rd** 2. Click on the **Standard Modules** tab 3. Click on the **Media Collections** module 4. Click on the **Modify media to this collection** icon (the two images) of the **Media Collection** you want to add media 5. On the left-hand side of the page under **Related Actions** click on **Add media to this collection** 6. This will open a window to your **File Manager,** and you can select the folder where the images are that you would like to add to the **Media Collection** 7. If you need to upload the images to the **File Manager**, click the **Upload files from your computer** link 8. Choose the folder you want to add the image(s) from the list in the **To This Folder** section 9. Under the **Image processing rules** select the **Prevent image optimization and upload the images in an untouched form.** Option 10. Click the **Select Images** button 11. This will open a window to your desktop where you can choose the image(s) you want to upload into the **File Manager** and click the **Open** button 12. Once you have selected the image(s) click the **Upload Images** button 13. The image(s) will now be uploaded to the folder in the **File Manager** 14. Click on the image(s) you want to add to the **Media Collection,** and you will see **SUCCESS** **Media added to this collection** in the bottom right corner and click the **Close** button 15. The image(s) will appear in the **Media Collection** at the bottom as the last image(s) numbered 16. You can now arrange them in whatever numbered order you want by choosing the position from the drop-down menu of the number beside the image(s) you want to move # EDIT A MEDIA COLLECTION 1. Log into **WebWiz@rd** 2. Click on the **Standard Modules** tab 3. Click on the **Media Collections** module 4. Click on the **Modify media to this collection** icon (the two images) of the **Media Collection** you want to edit 5. Click on the **Edit this media** icon (the pencil) of the image you want to edit 6. If necessary, enter the **Caption**, **Description**, **Alt Text,** and **Display Link** (off or on) 7. If you chose to turn on the **Display Link**, you will need to choose the **URL**, **Link Target** option and **Link Text** 8. Click **Save** on the left-hand side of the page # DELETE A MEDIA COLLECTION 1. Log into **WebWiz@rd** 2. Click on the **Standard Modules** tab 3. Click on the **Media Collections** module 4. Click on the **Modify media to this collection** icon (the two images) of the **Media Collection** you want to edit 5. Click on the **Remove this media from the collection** icon (the x) of the media you want to delete 6. A confirmation screen will appear asking you to confirm the deletion of the media 7. If you are sure, click **OK**, and the media will be deleted 8.
