News Flash

ADD/EDIT/DELETE A NEWS FLASH

ADD A NEWS FLASH

  1. Log into WebWiz@rd

  2. Click on the Standard Modules tab

  3. Click on the News Flash module

  4. On the left-hand side of the page under Related Actions click on Create a new news flash

  5. Click on the Basic tab

  6. Fill in the Title, Event Date, Teaser (this will appear on the homepage to get users interested in clicking on the news flash), Content (this is the actual content that will appear on the news flash page after the user has clicked on the teaser on the homepage), How to Link option, and Show Link option

  7. Click on the Advanced tab

  8. Fill in the Activate On This Date and the Hide On This Date fields

  9. Click on the Groups tab

  10. Assign the news flash to a group

  11. Click on the Save button at the bottom of the screen

EDIT A NEWS FLASH

  1. Log into WebWiz@rd

  2. Click on the Standard Modules tab

  3. Click on the News Flash module

  4. Click on the Edit this news flash icon (the pencil) beside the news flash you want to edit

  5. Click on the Basic tab

  6. Edit the Title, Event Date, Teaser (this will appear on the homepage to get users interested in clicking on the news flash), Content (this is the actual content that will appear on the news flash page after the user has clicked on the teaser on the homepage), How to Link option, and Show Link option, if required

  7. Click on the Advanced tab

  8. Edit the Activate On This Date and the Hide On This Date fields, if required

  9. Click on the Groups tab

  10. Edit the news flash group, if required

  11. Click on the Save button at the bottom of the screen

DELETE A NEWS FLASH

  1. Log into WebWiz@rd

  2. Click on the Standard Modules tab

  3. Click on the News Flash module

  4. Click on the Delete icon (the x) of the news flash you want to delete

  5. A confirmation screen will appear asking you to confirm the deletion of the news flash

  6. If you are sure, click OK, and the news flash will be deleted

  7. If you clicked it by mistake, or changed your mind, click Cancel, and you will return to the News Flashes page

  1. Log into WebWiz@rd

  2. Click on the Standard Modules tab

  3. Click on the News Flash module

  4. On the left-hand side of the page under Related Actions click on Manage news flash groups

  5. On the left-hand side of the page under Related Actions click on Add a news flash group

  6. Fill in the Name and the Description (if necessary)

  7. Click on the Save button at the bottom of the screen

EDIT A NEWS FLASH GROUP

  1. Log into WebWiz@rd

  2. Click on the Standard Modules tab

  3. Click on the News Flash module

  4. On the left-hand side of the page under Related Actions click on Manage news flash groups

  5. Click on the Edit icon (the pencil) beside the news flash group you want to edit

  6. Edit the Name and the Description (if necessary)

  7. Click on the Save button at the bottom of the screen

DELETE A NEWS FLASH

  1. Log into WebWiz@rd

  2. Click on the Standard Modules tab

  3. Click on the News Flash module

  4. On the left-hand side of the page under Related Actions click on Manage news flash groups

  5. Click on the Delete icon (the x) of the news flash group you want to delete

  6. A confirmation screen will appear asking you to confirm the deletion of the news flash group

  7. If you are sure, click OK, and the news flash group will be deleted

  8. If you clicked it by mistake, or changed your mind, click Cancel, and you will return to the Groups page
