Newsletter

ADD A NEWSLETTER

  1. Log into WebWiz@rd

  2. Click on the Standard Modules tab

  3. Click on the Newsletter module

  4. On the left-hand side of the page under Related Actions click on Create a new newsletter

  5. If you need to upload files for the newsletter, on the left-hand side of the page under Related Actions click on Upload files from your computer

  6. This will open the window to your File Manager, and you can select the Images or Documents tab

  7. If you need to upload image(s) or document(s) to the File Manager, Choose the folder you want to add the image(s) or document(s) from the list in the To This Folder section

  8. Click the Select Images button or Choose Documents button

  9. This will open the window to your desktop where you can choose the image(s) or document(s) you want to upload into the File Manager and click the Open button

  10. Once you have selected the image(s), click the Upload Images button or once you have selected the document(s), click the Upload Documents button

  11. The image(s) or document(s) will now be uploaded to the folder in the File Manager

  12. You can now begin to fill in the information on the Modify Newsletter page, fill in the Name, Subject and then add the content of the newsletter to the page

  13. You can add Wizard Tags to the newsletter from the three choices on the left-hand side [RECIPIENT_FIRST_NAME], [RECIPIENT_LAST_NAME], or [RECIPIENT_EMAIL] to the content of the newsletter to personalize it for the recipient

  14. Click on the Save button at the bottom of the screen

PREVIEW A NEWSLETTER

  1. Log into WebWiz@rd

  2. Click on the Standard Modules tab

  3. Click on the Newsletter module

  4. Click on the Preview this version of the content icon (the magnifying glass) beside the newsletter you want to preview

  5. A new window will open displaying the newsletter

  6. Close the window when you are done previewing

  7. You are now back at the Newsletters page, and you can now do whatever you need to do for your next step in the Newsletter module

HISTORY OF A NEWSLETTER

  1. Log into WebWiz@rd

  2. Click on the Standard Modules tab

  3. Click on the Newsletter module

  4. Click on the Show the history of distribution for this newsletter icon (the clock) beside the newsletter you want to see the history

  5. Click on the Show this version of the newsletter icon (the page) of the version of the newsletter you want to show

  6. You will then see the Distributed Package page and you can see the Distribution Date, Name, Subject, Recipients and Content (click the show message content button) of the newsletter

  7. Click back in the browser and you can go back to the Distribution History page

  8. You also have the option to Delete this history item icon (the x) if you want to delete the history item

  9. Click on the Delete this history item icon (the x) of the history item you want to delete

  10. A confirmation screen will appear asking you to confirm the deletion of the history item

  11. If you are sure, click OK, and the history item will be deleted

  12. If you clicked it by mistake, or changed your mind, click Cancel, and you will return to the Distribution History page

  13. You can now click back to the Newsletters page, and you can now do whatever you need to do for your next step in the Newsletter module

DISTRIBUTE A NEWSLETTER

  1. Log into WebWiz@rd

  2. Click on the Standard Modules tab

  3. Click on the Newsletter module

  4. Click on the Distribute this newsletter icon (the paper airplane) beside the newsletter you want to distribute

  5. Click on the Add Recipients button

  6. Check off the recipients to add to the newsletter

  7. Click Add the selected recipients button

  8. Click the Distribute Newsletter button

  9. You have successfully distributed the newsletter

  10. You are now back at the Newsletters page, and you can now do whatever you need to do for your next step in the Newsletter module

EDIT A NEWSLETTER

  1. Log into WebWiz@rd

  2. Click on the Standard Modules tab

  3. Click on the Newsletter module

  4. Click on the Edit icon (the pencil) beside the newsletter you want to edit

  5. Edit the Group, Name, Subject and the Content (if necessary)

  6. Click on the Save button at the bottom of the screen

DELETE A NEWSLETTER

  1. Log into WebWiz@rd

  2. Click on the Standard Modules tab

  3. Click on the Newsletter module

  4. Click on the Delete icon (the x) of the newsletter you want to delete

  5. A confirmation screen will appear asking you to confirm the deletion of the newsletter

  6. If you are sure, click OK, and the newsletter will be deleted

  7. If you clicked it by mistake, or changed your mind, click Cancel, and you will return to the Newsletters page
